Like any other concept began this too with an idea. This idea found fertile soil and were harvested between three friends who shared a vision. Through innovative thinking and a flair of the profession, the plan was to make a name for themselves. A name you associate with fashion. The vision dwelt in skill and good things occurred. Modo was the result.
Modo is Latin and means recently, now, right now and is the origin of the word art and fashion.
Our shop is located in Ålesund. We opened the doors for the first time 13 September 2006, a day now living strongest through our annual customer parties. Since beginning we always prioritized trend products and also held deep respecting fashion as phenomenon. Trend Towns and cities like New York, Berlin and Copenhagen are our greatest inspiration, but the fuel behind our work ethic has always been customer understanding.
As Nordic Based business it Scandinavian marks interests us most. Through this mindset are we supporting Scandinavian fashion as some of the best the world has to offer. We are no chain and will never to be. Trends come and go - Modo is here.
